Upcoming Events

New Worship Bags are available for our youngest members in the basket in the on the stage. Please feel free to take one to use during worship and return it afterwards.


If you have a prayer concern, please write the information on the yellow prayer card (please include your name) and place it in the offering plate. Prayers will be offered up during the Prayers of the People.


National Aviary Trip on Tuesday, August 7th, carpooling from the church at 11:00 am. The trip will include a guided tour and a live bird show. It's not too late to join us! There will be a brief meeting TODAY after worship to go over the details of the trip, cost, plans for lunch and agreement about the time of return. We need to make certain that everyone who plans on going has a ride if he or she is not driving.

REMINDER: There are always funds available - if the cost of the trip is of concern, please see Pastor Beth.


The Hospitality Committee will meet TODAY, following worship to finalize plans for the church picnic to be held on Sunday, September 9th, at 11:00 am. All who wish to help are invited to attend and bring ideas for inviting our neighbors, who are welcome to join us.


Those interested in helping with The Breakfas†Club, will meet NEXT SUNDAY following worship for a brief meeting to discuss plans for the fall session.


NEXT SUNDAY at 2:30 pm our church will lead the residents of Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in worship. The Deacons invite you to come at 2:00 pm and assist the residents, who are in wheelchairs, down to the room where the service is held. The Choir will also participate.


The Deacons will meet on Sunday, August 19th, following worship.



The Annual Church Picnic will be Sunday, September 9th, following worship. The Hospitality Committee is in charge of food, but we need volunteers to plan entertainment and games. A planning meeting will be held Sunday, August 5th, following worship.

We are planning an Antique Appraisal and Dinner to be held Sunday, November 11th, in Guild Hall. This fundraiser will benefit the Current Fund. A planning meeting is scheduled for Sunday, August 26th, following worship to

coordinate the appraisal and organize the dinner. We need volunteers to make this event a success.


A New Church Directory is in the planning stages this summer. You will have the chance to update your information (mobile numbers, email addresses, birthdays/anniversaries, etc.) or make corrections to the information we have on file. Please look for the information sheets and check your information (or someone else's you know). TODAY is the last Sunday the sheets will be available. New directories will be published for anyone who wishes to have one. Thank you for your assistance.
